In a parallel universe to our own, a hotly contested election between two powerful candidates is pulling society apart. Meanwhile, their citizens try to navigate relationships of love and family that have been poisoned by the mistrust ad contradictions in the election.
In A Star Full of Skies, the audience joins with the performers to build the experience each time – through voting. Can a strong Democracy lead to an ending that is better than the tragedy we’ve been retelling for thousands of years? A reimagining of the ancient Greek play, The Bacchae, it’s an adventure in drama and democracy that depends on you showing up. Run time 120 minutes, with an additional 15 minute intermission.
