The Setting:
Access to this play is located at the Minnesota Museum of American Art, a downtown treasure filled with a variety of art, including lots of modern art by Native artists. The play takes place at Wicahapi (Mounds Park) in 1849. Mounds Park is named after burial mounds sacred to local Dakota tribes.
Synopsis:
A United States surveyor is rattled by what he hears while trying to draw a settlement line through Mounds.
