The Setting:
We are standing in Rice Park. Part 2 takes place on the West side of the fountain. Long before Rice Park was here, various businesses were here, including a barber shop run by Moses Dickson, a Black abolitionist. This play takes place in parallel worlds, and the years are 1857 and 2020 simultaneously, in a dream space occupied by Pat, a modern day activist.
Synopsis:
A community activist’s time travels lead to the courage to continue her fight against injustice.
