The Setting:
Outside RiverCentre, a convention center hosting all kinds of large gatherings including Hmong New Year celebrations that now draw over 10,000 people.
Synopsis:
When an refugee- immigrant Hmong mother sees an opportunity to celebrate the culture of her homeland, she is aided by the kindness of passionate teacher–much to her son’s embarrassment.
