This May, Wonderlust Productions launched story circles that brought together caregivers–professionals, parents, grandparents, young adults, spouses and partners who have dedicated themselves to caring for those who can’t fully care for themselves.
More story circles will take place over the next couple months, followed by creative workshops with community members and professional artists, and then a public reading of a first draft of the script created by a team of seven professional writers.

We need to raise $12,000 from individual donors this summer so that we can continue to:
Listen and record hundreds of stories of devotion, challenge, and love that so often go unrecognized and unseen
Shine a light on experiences that help to hold families and communities together
Connect a diverse network of caregivers across ethnicity, occupations, and lived experiences
Inspire dialogue about what a sustainable, equitable culture can be.
Help us honor and uplift caregivers through high quality artistry, built in collaboration with the caregiver community every step of the way.
Your donation of any amount will pay for community organizers, volunteer stipends, writers and other professional artists who dedicate themselves to activating imaginations. Together, we can make the future of caregiving better for everyone.
Want to support the project from beginning to end?
Wonderlust’s work continues over many years: from story circles to creative workshops and readings to production and additional projects like graphic novels or podcasts that make the stories even more accessible. Recurring monthly donations create a basis of support for every collaborative stage of the work. Join our “Listening Circle” of recurring donors by checking the box when you make your donation. Current monthly donors give as little as $5 and as much as $100. All are welcome.
